Jason Tatum was a college student when he realized that he could make extra money simply by sharing his favorite music with others. The North Carolina native started out as a lot of young DJs do: he played gigs for fraternities and sororities. Jason's sunny disposition, engaging sense of humor and professional integrity quickly won him a following and contracts from bars and dance clubs wanting to attract students. Jason successfully organized some of the most popular "college nights" staged throughout the state before deciding to expand his business.
He established Active Entertainment in 2000.
The company provides sound, lighting and DJ services for a wide range of events, including corporate parties, wedding receptions, school dances and religious services. Active Entertainment uses the latest technology from many respected name brands to help its customers host memorable events. The company also takes special pride in its extensive music library, which can accommodate just about anyone's tastes.
